Biography
Andy Long is a trial lawyer whose practice is concentrated in the area of labor and employment law, insurance litigation and mass torts litigation.
Andy is a 2008 honors graduate of the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While earning his Juris Doctor, the Comfort Scholar served as managing editor of the Oklahoma Law Review and was honored with the 2007 Outstanding Comment Award and Outstanding 2L Award. In addition to receiving the George B. Fraser Scholarship and DeView Pierson Scholarship, Andy earned American Jurisprudence Awards in Contracts I & II, Torts I & II, Legal Research and Writing I & II, Civil Procedure I, Property, Individual Income Tax, Education Law, Evidence, Bankruptcy, Federal Courts, and Wills & Trusts.
Andy is the author of “Mashed Up Videos and Broken Down Copyright: Changing Copyright to Promote the First Amendment Values of Transformative Video,” 60 Oklahoma Law Review 317 (2007) and “A History of Copyright in the United States,” 5 Communication Law Review 72 (2005).
Andy holds a B.S.B.A. in computer information systems and an M.A. in communication from the University of Arkansas.
