Biography
Elizabeth Tyrrell is engaged in a broad-based transactional practice, serving individuals and entities in the healthcare industry (including physicians, hospitals and joint ventures), charitable organizations (local and national, generally focusing on medical and health research and treatment), publicly traded companies and closely held entities in a variety of businesses. Her practice includes corporate, securities and franchise law with emphasis on issues relating to healthcare for both taxable and tax-exempt clients. She represents clients in a wide range of business transactions, including organization, acquisitions and mergers, secured and unsecured lending and business contracts.
Elizabeth’s work in the healthcare field includes advising clients on matters such as fraud and abuse, self-referrals, development of hospitals, outpatient facilities and physician clinics, affiliations and joint ventures and physician compensation arrangements.
Her experience and expertise in the area of healthcare law have earned her inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America and Oklahoma Super Lawyers, where she has been named to the list of "Top 25 Women" each year since the magazine's debut in 2006.
In 2007, Elizabeth was recognized for her professional and civic contributions to the state by being named to the Journal Record's list of Leadership in Law honorees.

Representative Experience - Representation of physicians and hospitals in the establishment of joint ventures to create new facilities, including hospitals, surgery centers and imaging centers and other diagnostic and therapy centers, such as sleep labs and physical therapy centers.
- Representation of hospitals and other healthcare organizations in licensing and accreditation matters.
- Representation of applicants for certificates of need to establish or acquire nursing facilities and psychiatric units.
- Representation of both franchisors and franchisees in the establishment and operation of franchise systems and outlets.
- Mergers and reorganizations of for-profit and not-for-profit entities.
- Representation of borrowers and lenders in lending transactions, including bond financing.
