Biography
Bob Dace is an experienced trial lawyer with a vast amount of courtroom experience. His practice involves all forms of business-related litigation and arbitration, including the prosecution and defense of cases involving trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, gasoline pricing and distribution, antitrust, insurance coverage, franchises, healthcare, oil and gas, environmental, products liability, construction disputes, taxes, telecommunications, wholesale and retail food distribution and class actions. Bob has successfully tried high-profile cases in state and federal courts and in arbitration and administrative tribunals located throughout the country. His achievements in the area of litigation have earned him inclusion in Oklahoma Super Lawyers. He has also previously served as the leader of the firm's Litigation Practice Group.
Bob is a frequent writer and lecturer on various legal topics. Among his publications is “A General Practitioner’s Guide to Intellectual Property – Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights and Trade Secrets,” 70 Oklahoma Bar Journal, 1703.
Prior to entering law school, where he was the editor-in-chief of the Oklahoma Law Review, Bob served in the U.S. Army for five years. He served as a paratrooper and was qualified as a Ranger and a senior parachutist.
Bob is actively involved with Oklahoma Lawyers for Children, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to use the time, talent and resources of qualified pro bono lawyers and others to represent and assist children in the Juvenile Division of the Oklahoma County District Court. In 2004, Bob was presented with the organization’s prestigious Mona Lambird Service to Children Award for outstanding service by a volunteer attorney.
