Biography
Wagner Dias da Silva joined McAfee & Taft in 2007 and practices in the area of commercial transactions as well as securities related matters. Much of his practice is devoted to corporate and securities transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, agreement drafting, entity formation and regulatory matters.
Wagner is a recent honors graduate from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While earning his Juris Doctor, he served on the editorial board of the Oklahoma Law Review and was a member of Golden Key Honor Society. In addition to receiving the Rayburn L. Foster Scholarship, Wagner earned American Jurisprudence awards in Contract Law and Antitrust Law.
Prior to entering the University of Oklahoma, Wagner attended law school at Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie, Faculdade de Direito, in his hometown of Sao Paulo, Brazil. His career experience includes working a certified translator and interpreter (Portuguese/English) and as an English instructor to Brazilian business executives.
He is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish.
