Brandon Long Receives Outstanding Director Award | |

Brandon Long, an associate with the law firm of McAfee & Taft, has received the 2008 Outstanding Director Award from the Young Lawyers Division of the Oklahoma County Bar Association (OCBA). He was selected for the award by his peers and fellow board members based on his contributions to the Young Lawyers Division and the Oklahoma County legal community.
Long currently practices in the area of employee benefits law. Much of his practice is focused on representing employers in matters pertaining to qualified and nonqualified retirement plans, executive compensation plans, health and welfare plans, COBRA and deferred compensation.
The OCBA was organized in 1902 and is devoted to improving the administration of justice and serving the professional community interests of its members. The OCBA is a voluntary, incorporated association governed by officers and directors elected by the members.
In addition to being a member of the OCBA, Long is a member of the Oklahoma Bar Association and the State Bar of Texas. He volunteers his time to Big Brothers Big Sisters and serves on the board of directors of the Redbud Foundation.
