| Wall Street Journal - December 13, 2007 |
Jim Webb, a shareholder with McAfee & Taft, opened up to Wall Street Journal reporter Sue Shellenbarger about how some of the strengths that led him into a career as a trial lawyer -- his drive to scuceed, to win battles -- also made him vulnerable to depression several years ago. Jim's comments and insights about his experience with depression were documented in an article entitled "Even Lawyers Get the Blues: Opening Up About Depression," which was featured in the December 13th issue of the Wall Street Journal, and also a short video entitled "Depression's Toll on Lawyers," which appears online at www.wsj.com/video.
Also interviewed on the video about Jim's story are John Hermes, the firm's former managing director, and Gina Rowsam, assistant dean at the Oklahoma City University School of Law.
