Oklahoma City, OK - January 17, 2008

McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm, has further expanded its aircraft financing, title and registration practice with the addition of Marcie Scott and Sabra Hutchison as paralegals. The group remains one of the largest of its kind in the United States and serves clients globally.

Sabra Hutchison brings extensive title experience to her role as an International Registry specialist. She works with McAfee & Taft’s aviation attorneys and clients with aviation-related title searches and registration of aircraft, engines and helicopters with the web-based International Registry of Mobile Assets, established under the Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Protocol. Sabra is an Oklahoma state-licensed abstractor in Oklahoma and Cleveland counties and has more than 20 years of real estate title experience.  Since completing the paralegal program at City College in Norman, OK, she has worked as a legal assistant and title examiner for two Oklahoma title and abstract companies, and as a title opinions and administrative assistant at AERO Records of Oklahoma City.

Marcie Scott is responsible for preparing aircraft closing documents for filing with the Federal Aviation Administration.  She began her career working as a paralegal in environmental law and family law for two different California-based law firms.  Marcie graduated from the University of San Diego with a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2005 and her paralegal certificate in business litigation in 2006.
